About Marshall Woksa

Marshall Woksa is an award winning illustrator and designer specializing in acrylic painting, digital illustration and design.  He has worked professionally as an artist for nearly 30 years applying his creative talent to diverse clients in multi-disciplinary markets nationwide.  His innovative approach, built on traditional drawing and painting skills, leads to fun and award winning designs often employing dramatic perspectives and unique points of view.  His work has appeared in magazines, posters, billboards, children's books, television and online.

Marshall is a graduate of Northern Illinois University College of Visual & Performing Arts receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Illustration.  He worked as a freelance illustrator until 2002 when he began an eight year run as the Senior Graphic Designer at Country Music Television for their website cmt.com. At CMT, he produced eye-catching yet functional designs that won Creativity and ProMax Broadcast Design awards on a consistent basis. This helped cmt.com become the most visited country music website in the world.  

Marshall currently resides in Nashville, TN with his wife, son and Siberian husky.  In addition to his art, he enjoys his free time listening to jazz, playing the trombone, restoring a Victorian house and playing baseball in the yard with his son.
